Kauden 2022 kolmas kisaviikonloppu kisattiin Pärnun Porsche Ringillä 1.-2.7. Porsche Weekend Estonian tunnelmissa. Thomas Padovani (Est1 Racing) juhli kahdella voitolla ja vankisti näin sarjajohtoaan.
Viron Porsche pisti viikonloppuna parastaan, kun klubiyleisölle suunnattu juhla oli järjestetty Porsche Ringin rata-alueelle. Kaikki klassikoista kilpureihin kävivät vuoron perään varikolla lähes tuhatpäisen yleisön nauttiessa erittäin lämpimistä kesäpäivistä VIP-tilojen ja katsomon puolella.
Perjantain vapaiden harjoituksen jatkoksi Porsche Ringillä nähtiin kuumissa olosuhteissa kaksiosainen aika-ajo, jossa ensimmäisen osan kymmenen parasta jatkoi urakkaa ratkomalla lopullisen lähtöjärjestyksen. Tommi Haru (THR Racing) ilmoittautui mukaan taisteluun ajamalla ensimmäisen osion pohja-ajan. Siinä missä Haru pystyi hieman parantamaan omaa aikaansa toisessa osiossa, Thomas Padovani, Marius Bartkus (Porsche Lithuania) sekä Thomas Kangro (Porsche Estonia) paransivat vieläkin enemmän, ajaen tässä järjestyksessä aika-ajon sijoille 1-3 ennen Harua. Leo Messenger (Rode Racing) 991-autollaan yllätti kaikki ja ajoi 5. nopeimman ajan.
Lauantaipäivän kaksi kilpailua tarjosivat viihdettä tehtaan takuulla, jopa perjantaita kuumemmassa kelissä. Ensimmäisessa kilpailussa Kangro haastoi tosissaan Padovanin, kunnes sortui harmilliseen ajovirheeseen ja putosi neljännelle sijalle - vain noustakseen takaisin kolmannelle ohi Tommi Harun. Padovani ajoi ylivoimaiseen voittoon, Bartkus ajoi upeasti heti ensimmäisessä kilpailussaan toiselle sijalle. Leo Messenger (P5) ja Jonne Kurikka (Kurikka Invest) (P6) jatkoivat vakuuttavia otteitaan. Oliver Tiirmaa (Est1 Racing) sijoittui kisassa hienosti kahdeksanneksi ja 991-luokan toiseksi. Relaa Racingin Junior Program-kuski Nikolas Pirttilahti ajoi virheettömän kisan ja nappasi kymmenennen sijan - 991-luokan kolmas..
Viikonlopun toisessa kilpailussa Padovani ajoi jälleen paalulta muilta karkuun. Tällä kertaa Kangro ajoi virheettömästi, muttei lopulta yltänyt taistelemaan voitosta. Tommi Haru kruunasi nousujohteisen viikonloppunsa kilpailun kolmannella sijallaan. Muita onnistujia olivat Oliver Tiirmaa 991-luokan parhaana ja kokonaiskilpailun sijalla neljä, sekä Jani Käkelä sijalla viisi. Leo Messenger ja Olli Kangas täydensivät 991-luokan podiumin.

The third race weekend of the season was raced in Pärnu on the fabulous Porsche Ring where the Porsche Weekend Estonia offered a festive atmosphere to the participants and club members. Thomas Padovani (Est1 Racing) dominated the weekend with two wins, extending his championship lead.
Sprint Challenge NEZ was treated with great festive atmosphere during the Porsche Weekend Estonia. The weekend was another showcase for the NEZ region’s collaboration and expansion with a full grid of drivers from Lithuania, Finland, France and Estonia, as well as nearly thousand club members in the private event of Porsche Estonia. The crowd enjoyed the hot summer days with award-winning bar-tending, luxury street food in the air conditioned VIP lounge. Not to mention the wonderful range of Porsches from historic cars to modern classics and GT3 Cup race cars!
On the very hot track on Friday, after the free practice sessions, a two-folded qualification was underway where the fastest 10 from Q1 would define the starting order for the top 10. Whereas Tommi Haru (THR Racing) topped the Q1 and was able to improve in Q2, Thomas Padovani, Marius Bartkus (Porsche Lithuania) and Thomas Kangro (Porsche Estonia) improved even more and conquered the grid positions 1-3 before Harua. Leo Messenger (Rode Racing) in the 991 class took everyone by surprise with a 5th fastest time overall.
The two races on Saturday, when the temperature was even hotter, offered exciting racing and dominant drives. In the first race, Kangro challenged Padovani for the lead in the first half, but made an unfortunate mistake that dropped him down to fourth - he heroically climbed back to finish third. Marius Bartkus drove a brilliant debut race by finishing second behind the dominant Padovani. Leo Messenger (P1 in 991, P5 overall) and Jonne Kurikka (Kurikka Invest) (P6) continued to impress everyone with their performance. Oliver Tiirmaa (Est1 Racing) showed his race craft by finishing eighth overall and second in the 991 class. The Relaa Racing Junior Program driver Nikolas Pirttilahti drove faultless and finished P10 overall and third in the 991 class.
The second race of the weekend saw Padvani lead the race from pole to finish. Kangro stepped up his game and followed closely and finished second, Tommi Haru clinched third place after a solid day of racing. Other strong drives were performed by Oliver Tiirmaa, best in the 991 class and P4 overall as well as from Jani Käkelä (39 Invest) on P5. Leo Messenger and Olli Kangas completed the 991 class podium.
