The third race weekend of the season takes place in Porsche Ring where the teams are enjoying Porsche Festival atmosphere!
Porsche Festival is the largest gathering of Porsches in Estonia. In addition to PSC NEZ, there will be plenty of action on the circuit, with a number of workshops and lounges open and, of course, those who want, can hit the track with their own Porsche. Simulators are also present and on Friday there will be a Porsche Club road tour with Club members joining the event. Evening gala on Saturday is the highlight of the event!
The track in Pärnu does not have many elevation changes, but it features the steepest banking of the season. Corners 3 and 4 are a combinaton of slowing down while turning and finding the grip from the banked surface before entering the fastest corner and best overtaking opportunity in T5-T6.
Drafting may play a role during qualification but keeping tire temperatures under control during races has been a key element in success. Junior Driver Matias Salonen (Relaa Racing) is leading the overall classification, followed by Henri Tuomaala (Iceboys Racing), Valters Zviedris (Capkausko Autosportas) and Thomas Kangro (Porsche Estonia). These three drivers are separated by 5 points, so anything can happen.
